Once home to one of the Nation's first ski resorts and the County Seat of Grand County, Hot Sulphur Springs is steeped in local history and old-fashioned appeal.

From down-home cooking and hospitality at one of our local eateries to a friendly, quiet place to stay, if you're here visiting we've got just what you're looking for! 

During our idyllic mountain summer season, if you prefer hiking and biking we've got trails to die for, plus access to climbing, camping, and some of the best fishing you can find on the Colorado River. In addition, if you enjoy more organized sporting activities, we have local proximity to 4 golf courses, as well as river rafting and horseback riding.  The splendor of Rocky Mountain National Park is only a short drive away, as well as other State parks.

Snowshoeing, sledding and snowmobiling are definitely favorite winter activities and if you're into skiing or snowboarding, we're less than 40 minutes from two major ski resorts (Winter Park Ski Resort and Sol Vista Ski Resort.)

After all that activity, you'll want to come back and have a soak at our World-Famous Hot Sulphur Springs Resort and Spa. Grab a quick massage after your soak and you'll be ready to go out and do it all again tomorrow!
